Finally started spraying the engine block with engine enamel.
Unfortunately when I bought the can of specialized paint they were all out of bright red so I bought one that I thought might be a bordeaux-red one. Unfortunately it turned out to be pink-purple. So I called it a day after spraying a small area, returned the next day and it still looked pink-purple. So that was that for the weekend and decided to buy a new can of a nicer color.
